29 Oct When Women’s Running Magazine Went to Club La Santa
Our Client Club La Santa in Lanzarote is a world-renowned sport and fitness resort. It has world-class facilities that are suitable for all ages and abilities, and there are 80 sports and 500 weekly timetabled activities.
It has excellent facilities for runners of all abilities and offers running analysis, running school, hill climbs, morning runs and more, plus all the cross-training you could want, as well as yoga, stretch and relax classes to support training.
Now I am a BIG fan of the Women’s Running podcast, so when I was looking for media to work with for Club La Santa they were at the top of my list.
I was thrilled to be able to invite both Esther Newman (Editor) and Holly Taylor (Digital Editor) to Club La Santa in September 2021. I was even more thrilled when I got a mention during their podcast (episode 56, 30.55min) thanking me for being so helpful…I may have given myself a little ‘whoop’ when I heard it out on my run!
Unfortunately, Covid isolation awaiting a PCR test (which turned out to be negative) meant that Holly was unable to travel, and while I know that they were so looking forward to doing the trip together, Esther braved solo travel and expertly threw herself into everything that Club La Santa had to offer.
Esther gave a wonderful insight into her trip through their Facebook page and Instagram with posts, stories and a Live with Holly. She wrote a fantastic round-up of everything she got up to on her trip for the Women’s Running website, and her Paddle Boarding adventures are worth listening to on the podcast.
We are so pleased that Esther loved it as much as we do, calling it a “Runners’ Paradise” and “much like Women’s Running, it’s a place for all kinds of runner”.
