We Have Moved!

A new decade should be all about taking advantage of new opportunities. And, for us here at Bird Consultancy, we’ve kicked off the “roaring twenties” with a bang!

Towards the end of December, we packed up our old office at The Sharp Project – our home of 5 years – and landed at our new HQ in Ashton-Under-Lyne.

Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Peak District, we are within walking distance of such popular local locations as Portland Basin, Ashton Canal and others.

Our new base is also home to Quest Media Network, which is headed up by Bird CEO Chris Bird, meaning we have access to some state-of-the-art Audio Production and Live Broadcast facilities.

Our new office had been freshly renovated and re-painted for our arrival, so there’s an awful lot of white wall space at the moment. Though it’s nothing that some inventive wall art won’t fix!

But the move represents more than just an aesthetic change – it’s a chance to reflect on what’s been an incredible few years and look forward to the months and years ahead, and welcome a new era for Bird.

Commenting on the move, Chris Bird said: “This is our 30th year, and each of our offices has represented a different time for growth for both myself and the business. The move to Tameside, and alongside my team at Quest, marks the beginning of another exciting era. In 2011 I set out my plan to create a group it has not been easy to develop but I am delighted that we now have the makings of an exciting local and regional media, communications and event management group.”

We’ll check back in with you in a few weeks to let you know how the office is getting on. But if you want to keep up-to-date with all-things Bird in the meantime, be sure to give us a follow on Twitter at @BirdConsultancy, on Facebook and on Instagram.

Here’s to the new decade!
