Merry Christmas from Bird!

Well… it’s that time of year again!

2019 has been one heck of a wild ride, and it’s gone so fast!

But once again we find ourselves decorating the tree, eating mince pies and awaiting Santa’s dramatic arrival down the chimney.

And, here at Bird, we’re well and truly getting into the festive spirit whilst preparing to move to our new office in January! (More on that at a later date…)

Looking back, 2019 has had a lot to offer us as a business. We’ve gotten to work with some amazing clients (highlights from the world of sport include the Betfred British Masters and England Boxing) and have played a hand in the creation and execution of some pretty awesome events.

One of which was a conference that focused on wellbeing in the workplace; LiveBetterMCR.

Held at the famous Etihad Stadium, LiveBetterMCR brought together business leaders, CEOs and Entrepreneurs to discuss and debate how a positive approach to good workplace wellbeing (mental and physical wellbeing included) is a step in the right direction for any business.

It was an engaging and insightful day not just for the delegates and attendees, but also for all of us here at Bird who worked tirelessly to deliver the event.

With this in mind, we thought we’d make our Christmas message to you a little different this year…

Don’t worry – we still want to make sure you eat as much turkey and Christmas pudding as you can handle!

But while many of us as busy getting things in place for the big day on the 25th, it’s important we take a moment to think of those who don’t find this time of year easy at all. Who perhaps might not be enjoying a “merry” Christmas this year.

And, while we do this, take to time to think about our own wellbeing, too.

At this time of year we often spend so much time hoping to please others with gifts and food that we forget to consider how we feel, and what our own limitations are, physically, mentally and emotionally.

So this Christmas, instead of worrying too much about how everybody else is doing, and whether you’re doing a good enough job of making them happy, set aside a little “me time” and look after your own wellbeing.

We know we will!

From all of us here at Bird Consultancy, we wish you positive wellbeing, a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

2020 here we come!
