CJUK Live at Northern Restaurant & Bar
In March, Bird helped CJUK reach a social audience of more than 40,000 during its CJUK Live event at Northern Restaurant & Bar 18.
Chris, Danny and Kate from the Bird team joined our client, interim chef recruitment specialists CJUK, at NRB18 where they hosted their CJUK Live panel discussion. The event ‘Hospitality – An industry in Crisis?’ discussed the increasing skills shortage in kitchens.
The panel event was live streamed by Danny on Facebook, and reached an additional audience of 2,500, with 1,000 views.

An impressive 40,000+ people were reached across social media platforms organically in the week of the event. There was also press coverage including this article from the North West Caterer.
For years CJUK has championed a better way of working for chefs. They believe that it is possible to have a work-life balance and that it is this that will help the industry turn around the skills shortage.

Our work has resulted in significant growth across all platforms, with its reach on Facebook growing from 19,000 in May ’17 to an amazing 263,000 in Feb ’18. This increased reach has brought direct enquiries from Chefs wanting to sign up to #ABetterWay.
