The Bird gang have been out and about this week. It began with a trip to see A Midsummer’s Night Dream at Manchester Royal Exchange on Monday night. Claire and Kate gave it rave reviews - apparently it’s the funniest Shakespeare play they’ve seen. So if you fancy a laugh a minute trip to the theatre, check it out!

Manchester was hit by tragic news at the start of the week, after the body of missing Stone Roses fan Chris Brahney was discovered in Manchester Ship Canal. Thousands were moved by the story and we were all praying for a positive outcome. Our thoughts are with Chris’ family and friends at such a devastating time.

Ole Ole Ole! It’s a hat trick of football tournaments for Spain after being crowned Euro 2012 champions, following a 4-0 victory over Italy. It’s Dave who’s the lucky winner of the Bird office sweepstake…and he kindly treated us to our favourite Gregg’s donuts with his winnings!
